US will love Cheryl Cole, says Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell says he thinks American viewers will take Cheryl Cole to their hearts as a judge on US X Factor - and said TV bosses have been "desperate" to sign her.

A deal is yet to be finalised, but Cowell said he wanted Cole on the panel with Paula Abdul.
