Man denies plot to kill Stone

A MAN has appeared in court on charges linked to an alleged plot to kidnap and kill soul star Joss Stone.

Kevin Liverpool, 34, pleaded not guilty at Exeter Crown Court to conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit robbery.

He is accused of targeting Stone, 24, along with Junior Bradshaw, 31, who was not asked to enter any pleas to any charges pending psychiatric tests.

The two men, both from Manchester, were arrested on 13 June this year, near the Devon home of Stone, who has an estimated £9 million fortune and is a friend of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
