Thief makes gun threat

A SHOP worker was threatened by a woman with a handgun during a "terrifying" armed robbery at a newsagent.

The woman was working at RS McColl in Newton Church Road, Danderhall, Midlothian, when the raider entered the store and demanded money from the till. She made off with a three-figure sum of cash.
