BESTSELLING author Howard Marks is bringing his one-man show to Edinburgh in the autumn.

The Howard Marks Is Mr Nice tour arrives at the Pleasance Theatre on October 21.

The Welsh raconteur is most famous for his US imprisonment in 1988 for drug smuggling.

Since then he has become a leading advocate for the legislation of recreational drugs and stood as a candidate for UK parliament in 1997.

In addition to a light-hearted analysis of the UK's smoking ban, Howard will also recollect some of his edgier tales from his autobiographical works,.'
