Mixed event at golf club

Deer Park Golf and Country Club at Livingston, West Lothian, is to hold its Mixed Classic Event again this year, following a successful launch last year.

The event, which sees men and women playing in pairs over 27 holes, will take place on June 11, and it will then become a permanent date on the club's golfing calendar.

General manager John Douglas said: "The Mixed Classic proved to be a great day out and was particularly welcomed because it was something that men and women could do together."
