T in the Park review: FOUND

T Break, Sunday

A DOWNPOUR of Biblical proportions sends the T in the Park hordes running for cover just before FOUND are due on stage at the T Break tent.

While this does have the effect of making them seem like the buzziest band of the weekend, it also entails a steady drip drip of fans away from the small arena as the clouds clear.

With a committed hundred or so left in attendance, the Edinburgh trio demonstrate the quality of the idiosyncratic folktronica that landed them a deal with lauded record label Chemikal Underground earlier this year.

There is always space for old favourite You're No Vincent Gallo, but they pluck most of their half hour set from this year's breakthrough LP factorycraft.

The Motown-via-Munich breaks of Machine Age Dancing and Ziggy Campbell's subtly sardonic vocals on Anti Climb Paint are stand-outs, and while the tent is undoubtedly less full by their show's conclusion, this is no fault of FOUND's.
