ETHAN Loch, 10, earned two top prizes after competing for the very first time at Glasgow Music Festival this week, with one expert saying his first major public performance was “filled with colour”.

Now he has been invited to play at a closing concert which will judge the best of the festival’s 7,000 entrants. Proud mum Larinda said the future is bright for the talented youngster, of Dennyloanhead, near Falkirk, and said his success had left the family overwhelmed.
