Stevie Boxall, Leith: "It was absolutely terrible. I couldn't even pick a man of the match. Hogg shouldn't be at right back, it is Wotherspoon that should be playing right back, and that's the main thing. All of the goals in the first half came from where Hogg was. Other than that, we were mince."

Hakim, Morocco: "I think this is because everyone played against Rangers. It reminds me of when Hamilton played Hibs earlier in the season at New Douglas Park. They gave everything against Rangers on Sunday and the time before the next game is too short for them. I am here to support Zemmama and Benji. However, I think we should have changed some of the players. It was bad to lose two goals so early and we also have the Motherwell game coming up this week. It just didn't happen for us."

Darren MacLennan, South Queensferry: "I don't think Hogg should be right back, we need Wotherspoon there. At half-time, I think Hughes should have made that substitution. We're missing McBride as well, he's a big loss for the team. I think we need to go back to the back four of Wotherspoon, Hogg, Bamba and Murray at left back. I'm still behind Hughes but his substitutions were a bit dodgy – they should have been made earlier."

Alastair McKerchar, Craigleith: "Tactically, from the beginning, I don't understand Hogg was at right back with Wotherspoon on the bench. Wotherspoon is an overlapping full back with the skill and talent to do it. When you have one weak link in the team like that I think a feeling of confusion ripples through the rest of the team. I would not be playing Hogg at right back on Saturday."

Colin Wilkinson, Bonnyrigg: "I think only Stokes gets pass marks, and that's for running about and not much else. It hasn't been right for the last few weeks. Bamba has been a nightmare since he came back from the African Nations Cup."

Charlie Walker, Gilmerton "That was absolutely diabolical. I don't know why we didn't start with Wotherspoon. Playing Hogg at right back is an absolute joke and we need to sort it for Saturday. We need to go back to the way we were playing before Bamba went to the African Nations Cup. He hasn't kicked a ball since he came back and I'd drop him."

Bryan Phillips, Marchmont: "What a waste of 20-plus petrol. We were absolutely diabolical and it's there in the top five worst Hibs performances of the century. So many of our players were disinterested I really wish they were on performance-related pay. If you're earning thousands of pounds per week at least look interested and maybe stretch for that ball going out of play or challenge again for that header. Sadly, none of our players were interested in doing that, bar maybe Ian Murray."

Stevie King, Musselburgh: "I really hope Yogi learns that he can make substitutions before half-time, even as early as after a quarter of an hour if he wants to. That way, something might be salvaged from a game, other than Yogi's pride. Changes needed to be made, and he refused to do so – when he did, the game was well beyond us."
