Possibly the most exciting thing to come out of Welwyn Garden City since, erm, Hatfield And The North, the fresh-faced trio have had their pop nuggets polished by producer Butch Vig on this second album.

'Kalifornia' is powered by a Hives-style riff offset by a delicious power pop chorus, while songs such as 'Obsession' and 'Shake! Shake!' continue the short sharp musical shock treatment.

Only 'Strawberry Blonde' strays from the three-minute formula, and sounds a little uncomfortable in its acoustic musings.
