A SCOTTISH gang is bankrolling murderous terrorist attacks in Kashmir, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds each year through counterfeiting and mortgage fraud, Scotland on Sunday can reveal.
MI5 sources say around 50 Scots Asians – most of them in Glasgow – are raising funds for Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), a Kashmiri separatist group responsible for hundreds of deaths and reportedly involved in the kidnap and murder of American journalist
Daniel Pearl.

Much of the cash raised in Scotland is sent first to Dubai, where it is laundered, and then passed to JeM terrorists operating in the Kashmir region, say security sources.

It is estimated that up to £50,000 a month is raised in Scotland. As well as money from mortgage fraud, around £15,000 of this total is raised by selling counterfeit DVDs, CDs and clothing at market stalls and in pubs and clubs across Scotland.

Last week, a British citizen and JeM suspect, Rashid Rauf, wanted in the UK for his alleged part in a plot to blow up 10 trans-Atlantic airliners last summer, escaped from custody in Pakistan.

JeM militants have been waging a war for Kashmiri independence since the group was formed in 2001 by scholar Maulana Mazood Azhar. They have been a proscribed terror group in the UK for years.

MI5 learned about the Glasgow fundraising operation from the Pakistani secret service, the ISI, which became aware of large amounts of money being paid into suspects' bank accounts.

A security source told Scotland on Sunday: "The Kashmiri problem is becoming an increasing headache for both the Pakistani and Indian governments, and they have been keeping a very close watch on those individuals who they believe are orchestrating the violence. It was from this surveillance work and analysis of their bank details that the alert was first raised about money coming in from the UK."

The Scottish-based organisers of the group have, so far, managed to keep a relatively low profile, making it hard for the authorities to act against them.

But ever since the ISI tip-off a few months ago, security services have been urged by their bosses to turn up the heat on individuals they suspect are behind the scams.

All of the Scots behind the fundraising are British-born but remain fiercely supportive of their roots.

There are also hot-beds of support for Kashmiri militants in London and Birmingham, although a recent crackdown has had a severe impact on the activities of fundraisers.

The security source added: "The people involved in the mortgage frauds are only too aware that the banks and lenders are none too keen on prosecuting anyone caught up in this charade, as it will mean them having to answer a lot of awkward questions in court."

In a recent Law Society report, it issued a warning about the risks of mortgage fraud: "The recent slowdown in the UK property market has exposed a rise in mortgage fraud by organised criminals and the potential vulnerability of professionals to be exploited by organised crime syndicates."

if Scottish Asians are involved in supplying money or material support for Muslim terror groups, when caught should lose their right of residence and deported after they do the jail time for their criminal actions, and if the families are involved they also should face deportation.Should it be they cannot be deported the should spend life in jail, life means life! no release

The people who are financing the terrorists should be put in jail.

The terrorists who try to portray themselves as "protectors of Islam" are nothing more than barbarians who will do anything if anyone opposes their orders.

These Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists try to suppress women's rights by asking them not to come out of their house without a male companion, and a burqa.
Initially this was opposed by the peace loving people of kashmir so the terrorists started throwing acid on women who were not wearing burqa and cutting the women's hair in public.

Nowadays these JeM terrorists are kidnapping young school students while on the way to school and fill their school bags with explosives and then ask them to go the nearest police station. As soon as the child enters the station the JeM terrorists remotely detonate the explosives killing the child and anyone inside the station.

My humble request to all the people reading this message is not to donate any money to groups which say it is 'fighting for kashmir' or 'fighting for islam'. The money you donate will be in good faith but finally the money will used to kill young defenceless children
and innocent people on the streets of kashmir by the JeM and other such organisations.

They are not Scots they are Pakistani Muslims.

Daniel Pearl was not simply murdered but beheaded and video'd by al qaieda aided and abetted by the local terrorists whom the Scottish consumer is indirectly funding.

50 Muslims involved in a mortgage and DVD scam to fund international terrorists but revealed by MI5. Once again the local Pakistani Muslims living down to our expectations.

Are they complicit in this, by not informing the police? Are we to believe that in such a tight self-segrating group, none of them knew about this. Why didn't they come forward ? Do they support their actions ?

This is the same muslim community that your first minister has stated are "..woven into the fabric of Scottish society and "..enrich" , aye right.

How many more muslims business's are funding madrassas and training camps back home.

It's pretty obvious the politicians and the cops won't do anything about it, however the consumer has a very important part to play by boycotting the corner shops and restaurants. If their starved of their profits they will have to cooperate or leave.

The politicians need to seriously look at the levels and quality of immigrants from Pakistan, before the 50 becomes 500.

All Muslims should be deported from all of Europe, the biggest mistake we ever made allowing a single one of them in.

Your a bit late folks about deporting 4 odd million Islamic brethren..The UK is stuck with a monumental problem of non-assimilation. Forgive me if I am wrong but in a couple of generations a great number of UK cities will have a white minority at least that is how recall the Govt. saying a few months ago. The words of Enoch Powell will come to haunt the UK.
Thinking of money being transferred to support certain illegal activities, there is no way would anyone know how much money is being sent out of the country. Banks are a no no and Western Union is not in it. The methodology is centuries old whereby money is moved around to avoid tax and and maintain secrecy.
The Middle East has used the " hawalla bankers" who could be a store keeper for instance and it is all done on trust and code words. Without any shadow of doubt whilst the rest of the worlds sleeps there are those among us nibbling away at the very foundations of our society. Wakey wakey

Your usual rants about deporting EVERY Muslim in Europe verges on the insane and is indicative of a racist, possibly unstable personality.

I suppose we shall be forced to ignore your ridiculous comments and file them away in the drawer labelled, "Wackos".

I fear it is too late, the PC brigade will come to rue the day we have parity of population.
Why can't we have a politician man enough to stand up for this country before we are drawn deeper into the mire.
Immigration without integration is a recipe for disaster, muslims wont integrate yet we still allow it.
Halt immigration from these countries forthwith and let's see how they respond.
