POPE Benedict XVI made a pilgrimage to a famous shrine to the Virgin Mary today, where he planned to celebrate the 850th anniversary of its founding with an open-air Mass for more than 30,000 people and make a case that faith is still a force for good in Europe.
The Pope was taken by car to Mariazell, about 90 miles south-west of Vienna, after more poor weather on the second day of his Austria visit prompted organisers to cancel plans to bring him there by army helicopter.

The Archdiocese of Vienna said 33,000 believers had tickets for the event, and that scores from Eastern Europe - including 70 bishops - were among the crowd.

Who cares?

Benedict XVI is a medieval pragmatist who, before being elected Bishop of Rome, was in charge of the modern version of the Inquisition.

His pronouncements (Bulls, really bull-s***) are medievalist commandments and he is constantly pronouncing that Roman Catholicism is the only true church and religion and ALL others are sham.

Even God Himself, if you believe in a Higher Being, would not be so presumptuous.

There was a book published in the sixties entitled "The Bad Popes". We need and update and we have a supreme example in the present occupant of the Throne of St. Peter.

Thank you for acknowledging the Throne of Saint Peter
and the present occupant, Pope Benedict XVI. Even if you don't like him, disagree with him etc. you have given him his rightful title and position. As far as a Higher Being not revealing the Truth about being God and having established only ONE CHURCH.. how do you figure that? Reason is on the side of Pope Benedict XVI and time and history show that to be a fact

Oh, just go to bed with your warm milk and sleeping pills and tranquillizers.

The Whore of Rome is a retrograde casuistrist (look it up) and Betty Benedict is a throwback to the Medieval times and a threat to world order by his outrageous comments on this, that and the other thing.

If you believe in Dante's "Divine Comedy" Benedict would be right down there in one of the lower rings of hell burning with all the other popes, archbishops, bishops, priests, and other assorted sodomites.

There are so many facts that make it impossible to believe in Catholicism, and indeed in Christianity, that there is now way I could list them all here. Read the works of Marcello Craveri (who is conversant with the anciant Greek, Latin and Aramaic of the Bible), and Luigi Cascioli if you really want to get to the truth. But oddly enough it is my experience that Christians, who for years have urged me to seek the truth, cannot stand hearing it. "You must take a step of faith" = "You must believe in something that cannot be proven or justified" = "You must be brainwashed, robbed of you ability to reason". One of the foundation stones of Catholicism, the Constitutum Constantini has long been known to be a forgery, while the famous reference of Flavius Josephus to Yeshua (Jesus) is a forgery by Caesarea.
The Ancient Romans were in fact an extraordinarily tolerant people, who truly believed in muticulturalism and freedom of religion: they embraced many new religions from all corners of their empire. The Christians were highly intolerant, and ransacked and destroyed temples. In fact there are good reasons to believe that they DID set fire to Rome, just as Nero claimed. In the 20th century missionaries wiped out the cultures of many peoples of the Americas, New Guinea, the Pacific Islands and more, forbidding them to learn their own sacred stories and songs, and replacing them with the absolutely banal, sterile, and blatantly false Christianity. It is remarkable that Christians burnt and tortured more people to death than the Romans ever did, and the Crusades were little more than an appalling sequence of atrocities, which usually began with rounding up all the Jews in the towns from which the Crusades departed, and burning them to death. I have also heard a Christian priest preach against homosexuality, in Australia. It seems that he and many other Christians in that congregation were obsessed with the physical sexual act, as oppos

Oops! "...forgery by Caesarea" in the above comment should read "forgery by Eusebius", as you all know. Of course!
