STIRLING County forwards coach Jocky Bryce experienced a cocktail of emotions at Bridgehaugh last night. First, he watched his side being hammered by newly-promoted West of Scotland, then he switched his attentions to another match – his own.
Bryce was married in the clubhouse less than half an hour after the final whistle and despite his earlier fortunes, he did manage a smile!
Graham Fisken launched West's spree on the half-hour mark, with Andy Park and veteran ex-pro Guy Perrett adding scores in the build up to the interval.
Prop Elliot McLaren led the charge in the second half with a touchdown double. Connor Davis was also on the scorecard, along with Park, Alex Fisken and Colin Duck.
Peter Horne slotted four conversions to make sure West broke the half-century barrier.
Stirling's only points came from a Brian Archibald penalty.
