A BRITISH woman planning to start a new life with her husband in New Zealand has been banned from entering the country - because she is too fat.
Rowan Trezise, 33, left behind in south Wales while her husband Richie, 35, moved down under is desperately trying to lose weight so she can join him.

When the couple first tried to gain entry earlier this year they were both told that they were overweight and a potential burden on the health care system. Richie Trezise managed to shed two inches from his waistline to fulfil criteria set out as part of his visa application. His wife however faces a battle to shed the pounds.

Ok to live on stolen Maori lands, but not to be fat, in NZ.

Next plan is to do a DNA screen and block entry of inferior genes that might cost the health service money. No fat genes allowed, -only skinny ones. A tendency to grow large woolly backs are of course welcome.

It is time to take action against the fatties. These food driven humans are a constant burden on our health services. When you are in a room with a fatty it does not matter where you are seated as the fatty is still sitting beside you. Away with them I say.

NZ just knew we wanted them out.

As someone who is classed as clinically obese, I am on prescribed medication to control my weight. I eat a healthy, vegetarian diet and have run 3 half-marathons this year. What kind of action were you planning to take Hunky Dorey? It really honestly isn't some people's fault that they're overweight.

Does NZ have a general population smoking ban as well?

New Zealand may also choose to ban this lady on the grounds that there may not be any pies left for anyone else if she were to move to their country.

Are you among the one in three people who get enough exercise to stay healthy?
Yes. I even do a 5-mile run on Christmas mornings
I hope so. I joined a gym once.
No, though I might break into a trot if I was late for tea
