Van hits boy

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon after a collision with a van.

The youngster is understood to have suffered minor injuries to his legs and was described as "walking wounded" by police. He was taken by ambulance to the ERI.

The incident took place in Lasswade Road, close to Gracemount High School, at about 3:30pm.
