Fronted but not eclipsed by Scots singer-songwriter Laura Donnelly, this is a minty fresh debut album rich in electronic musical washes, combining technological and traditional musical methodology.

Instrumentation ranging from cello to kazoo produces lush space jazz such as 'I'm Talking', slow-motion disco imaginings such as 'How Dare You' and the futuristic folksiness of 'Weighed Down'.

The quartet is at its most potent bubbling up crackly atmospherics; the epic closing track 'Bumble B' illustrating the point with an air of subdued confidence.
