LIVINGSTON survived an early scare before delivering the goals which make Stirling Albion's plight at the foot of the table even more desperate.
STIRLING 1 Paartalu 28
LIVINGSTON 4 Dorrans 35; Craig 39; Snodgrass 58, 65
With their Scottish Cup defeat by Celtic now a distant memory it was back to the bread and butter of the league for Allan Moore's side and they could have scored a
fter just four minutes when Stewart Devine's free-kick caused all sorts of problems before being bundled off the line by Livi skipper James McPake.
The first half was evenly contested until Stirling's on-loan Gretna midfielder Eric Partaalu's left foot shot from inside the box was deflected past goalkeeper Colin Stewart.
But ten minutes before the break, Livingston drew level when keeper Scott Christie could only push away a wicked drive from Steven Craig and as the ball broke to Graham Dorrans, his shot spun into the net courtesy of a deflection.
Worse was to follow for Stirling when Craig fired in an unstoppable 25-yard volley to put the visitors ahead and Dorrans almost increased his tally after the break when he broke clean through, but his effort was blocked.
Robert Snodgrass, who was on loan to promoted Stirling last season, made it 3-1 in the 58th minute to leave his former team-mates in dire straits and the same player inflicted further damage blasting a glorious left foot drive into the roof of the net.
With just one league win this season, it's not looking good for Albion.
