ACCIES kept their title challenge on course after a dramatic last-minute equaliser by substitute James McCarthy gave them a share of the points.
Hamilton got the opener in 22 minutes when the ball was allowed to drop in the area for striker Richard Offiong, whose shot was blocked by Ryan McCann, with Grady, signed on deadline day from Gretna, following up to drill the rebound low past goalkee
per Jamie MacDonald on the angle from 12 yards for his first goal for the club.

The Doonhamers levelled on the half-hour mark when Jamie McQuilken rifled a free-kick through the defensive wall. Cerny could only parry the ball and Stephen Dobbie reacted first to volley home in off the near post.

Queens went in front in 36 minutes when a long range free-kick from McQuilken was knocked on by Burns for Dobbie to power a header home from six yards. Dobbie should have bagged a first half hat-trick, but his 20 yard drive, two minutes from the break, flew just wide of Cerny's left hand post.

The tension was becoming too much for Billy Reid's side, with team-mates James McArthur and Simon Mensing having an ill-tempered exchange right on the interval.

Dobbie should have wrapped up the points in 61 minutes when he ran through unchallenged on goal, but Cerny saved bravely at his feet, before Accies grabbed a dramatic equaliser in 90 minutes when substitute McCarthy shot home at the back post.

Queens were then reduced to ten men when Steve Tosh was red carded.
