Gretna boost
GRETNA'S survival as a football club was given a boost last night after they were given a guarantee that they will be able to play a cash-rich game against Celtic next week.
The troubled club are tenants at Motherwell, whose ground is now unplayable due to waterlogging. Gretna is relying on playing a home league game against Celtic next week to boost its coffers.
Motherwell chairman John Boyle said last night: "We will produce a venue for the game. It could be Livingston, could be Hamilton, I don't know."
