The Mael brothers' penchant for pop vaudeville with an acid twist has sustained a 37-year career, and remarkably this 21st album is yet another musical coming of age.

Much as singer Russell loves to ham it up as the ageing lover boy on 'Good Morning', their secret lies in a continuing youthful exuberance. His brother Ron still has a killer piano riff or two up those immaculately tailored sleeves, and it is hard to resist songs titled 'Lighten Up, Morrissey' or the inspired '(She Got Me) Pregnant'.
