PETERHEAD continued their fine pre-season form into the campaign opener with victory over the Third Division champions at Bayview.
Graham Sharp fired the Blue Toon in front on the half hour mark, knocking the ball home from 16 yards. Craig Gunn shot powerfully into the back of the net from 25 yards to double Peterhead's lead before half time.

Kevin Fotheringham came close for the Fifers but saw his free kick saved.
