STEPHEN Kenny may be gone but Dunfermline's woeful run continues. The Fifers, who parted company with the Irishman on Tuesday and replaced him with caretaker head coach Jim McIntyre, have now gone six league games without a win following yesterday's draw in atrocious conditions at East End Park.

Dunfermline found themselves trailing after just two minutes and you won't see a more bizarre goal all season.

Skipper Scott Wilson's passback led to a desperate, scrambled goal-line clearance from former Scotland goalkeeper Paul Gallacher after he seemed slow to react and as the ball broke clear Doug Imrie played it back in for David McGowan to stick the ball into the net from just a couple of yards out.

But while Clyde must have thought Christmas had come early, Dunfermline took just seven minutes to respond, Mark Burchill heading past David Hutton after Jim Hamilton had flicked on a Stephen Glass corner from the right. That goal lifted the Fifers and Burchill was unlucky not to complete his double when his chip from inside the box came off the post with Hutton beaten.

Imrie received his second yellow card and marching orders for his challenge on Scott Morrison 15 minutes into the second half and with the extra man Burchill almost wrapped it up as he raced clean through, but his shot was blocked by Hutton.

In the final minutes, Pars midfielder Stephen Simmon's header came off the woodwork and Hamilton's shot was met by another instinctive save.
