CLYDE launched an amazing second half fight back to rescue themselves from defeat.

The Cumbernauld side found themselves two goals down – thanks to strikes from Steven Craig and Scott Morrison – and heavily out-played at half time.

However, Jo
hn Brown's men showed superb battling spirit to pull themselves back into the game with goals from Ruari MacLennan and Pat Clarke.

Yet, on another day there would have been no hope of a fight back as the Highlanders could have been five goals to the good at the break.

Clyde keeper David Hutton had a busy afternoon making early saves from Craig, Paul Lawson and Richie Hart as Derek Adams' men went for the jugular.

Despite his early heroics

County went ahead when Craig hammered the ball high into the net after David Winters flicked on a Lawson corner.

Morrison made it two a couple of minutes later as he expertly curled in a 20-yard free kick.

County had further chances before the break with Winters shooting wide and Hutton only grabbing Hart's 30-yard strike at the second attempt.

The visitors stepped off the gas after the break and allowed Clyde right back into the game in 68 minutes.

Substitute David McKay held the ball up in the box for MacLennan to drill the ball low past Tony Bullock.

Clyde drew level on 82 minutes as Ricky Waddell's free-kick was met brilliantly by Clarke who looped a back-header over the keeper.
