Author of the poem Dae Ye Mind

A colleague of his discovered it on the wall of the Whiski Bar and Restaurant on the High Street. Its first two verses read:

"Dae ye mind the castle standin' proud, guardin' a'thing in its' sight. Dae ye mind the gun at one o'clock, oh michty' whit a fright!
