People should avoid having anything to do with any company or organisation that uses premium rate telephone numbers. The whole thing is a money making con on the public.

Greed over commonsense. Happens every time. People will never learn.

I'll put my hands up, I phoned in to the "Restoration" programme...but that's all.

End these Premium Rate numbers NOW! They've always been nothing but a con.

Never used them, never needed to.

Money's scarce enough without using these quid a minute phonelines! Or do people have more money than sense?

I once phoned in to "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" because my wife bet me I wouldn't - she paid for dinner.

it's been well known that the TV production companies use premium rate numbers to pay for production costs & who wants to be a millionaire makes a profit on production costs with the amount of calls they recieve. Richard & Judy set questions so easy a 5 year old can get the correct answer (although some numpties get it wrong) to boost caller numbers.

Pennies from heaven for the tv magnets. These premium rate scams will have to go. If it aint 0800 or 0845 , don't bother dialling. That's my advice. As for mobile phones , don't get met started !

Its time these companies were made to publish at the end of each show just how many calls they had received and how much money they had made. Every night STV run a comp that is the biggest joke ever, yet they rake in thousands from people who are trying to win 'one thousand pounds' or even worse a place in a draw at the end of the week.
Its bad enough that they have increased the number of adverts with out this rip off.
