How do they work out these national figures?
Seems to me a lot of spin goes on here.
But I suppose this organisation is run by woman eh?

One wonders how the information came to light, wouldn't have been through FOI by any chance? How is that for hypocrisy?

Is one of the sub editors a raging feminist who insists that at least a good few times a week there is an article about gender. It seriously is a media obsession, who the hell cares?! They should disband the EOC as they serve nno real practicle purpose and are among the senior architechts of this PC culture. Up yours Rowena.

Gender issues sell papers.
The girls want to hear about other lassies suffering so they can 'empathise' with them. In short, take it onto themselves. It sell many mags and papers, and indeed tv programmes. 'Loose women' anybody?

One of the 'leading' female er....'reporters' usually digs up a 'poor women' story each week, remember tha girls who lost out on the space shot because of gender?
That thread died when one (male) indicated it was a wrong assumption!

Woman sitting behind a desk like to find stories of nasty men putting them down. Although these are the same women who treat shop workers and female posties with undisguised contempt.

It's a funny old world........

But do you agree it is total garbage? every one of these articles has so many holes in it, as #2 has already pointed out. The Scotsmans obsession with gender has been taken to almost daily-mail-lengths in the past few months. I have to say Emma Cowings journalism is usually the epitome of this nonsense.

Whoopsie! Caught out and how! No reason at all to pay staff differing wages if they are on the same pay band and have put in the same length of service.

#9 - That's because they are too busy doing a double shift. Engaged in employment at lower rates of pay than their male colleagues before going home and having to do the vast majority of domestic work looking after their male partners and children while the partner lies on the sofa watching TV and posting comments on websites about how outrageous it is for people to expect equal and fair treatment.
