So whats all the fuss!

With the number of places we are bothering all over the middle east, there must be a massive demand for armoured vehicles now.

Remember selling arms (etc) generates revenue.

It is a shame the govenment only bough 100 of these Cougars. Every British Trooper should be riding in one of these vehicles. There is no cost for a life.

Gross incompetence is alive and well in the MOD.

It's worth having an audit team in just to make sure no one is dealing on the side. How could I possibly think that HA HA.

Very many years ago I lived in London and a girl I went out with worked for the MOD in Mottingham (SE19). For a not inconsiderable time, every tender that was considered for a job, was paid rather than payment just going to company awarded the contract.

The MOD have never been good with money, but have excelled at keeping things quiet.

Fact is, if the insurgents have access to shoulder fired weapons like the RPG-29 (as hezbollah have via Syria and Iran) then it doesn't really matter what you choose to drive around in, even a main battle tank. The RPG-29 will go through 30in of rolled steel from several hundred yards away. Any strategy that is going to work in fighting these people is going to have accept losses from such weapons, as there is very little defense if they choose to use one on you.

What is the death of British Servicemen to Blair's Labour Government answer 'NOTHING' Blair is more interested in creating Multiculturalism. he does not care to hoots about our brave servicmen who he sent to their death on his sexed-up dossier on Iraq.it's a shame that what happened to Willian Joice can't happen to Blair.
