THE lender arrested in the cash-for-honours investigation has admitted discussing peerages with Lord Levy in a letter to colleagues.
It emerged last night that Professor Sir Christopher Evans detailed his relationship with Labour's chief fundraiser in a confidential letter to advisers and investors, but denied any wrongdoing.

Sir Christopher, 49, was arrested last September by
officers from Scotland Yard investigating whether honours were promised in return for £14m loaned by 12 businessmen.

In the letter, revealed in a Sunday newspaper, the head of the venture capital company Merlin Biosciences wrote: "Did we ever discuss honours and politics?

"Did he [Lord Levy] ever say on the countless occasions that I met him and his wife over the years that I was deserving of a future honour or that I should have a political role and make a difference?

"Yes, he did. So what? Why should I be embarrassed by that fact or such comments?

"Were conversations also taking place about making donations to the party? Of course they were. Michael Levy was always talking about money, that's his job!

"Did he ever promise me anything in return for my donations or my loan? No. Never"

Sir Christopher, who wrote the letter on Friday following another interview with detectives,

also revealed a close relationship with Tony Blair and Chancellor Gordon Brown.

What's the big deal? The entire sorry 'peerage' system represents nothing more than something bought and paid for by its beneficieries in some form or another; by blood line, by freemasonary, by devious contacts, by backhanders, by bribes, by sucking up, or whatever ...... time for it to become a footnote in history. Let's have no such English nonsense in our Independent Scotland, boys and girls.

Perhaps we should rename it the Dishonors system. Seems to me to be more appropriate!

When is Lord Levy going to be publicly defrocked or unbraided for his finagling.
Whilst on the subject of honours, I am always impressed with all the medals, stars, sashes, emblems and badges worn by such worthies as Prince Charles and the Duke of Edinburgh during official ceremonies.
Could anybody please enlighten me as to all the wars and battles they were in and all the lives they saved whilst under under fire, so as to earn these medals?
There must have been lots and lots.

Maybe they stole them eh.
See link below to see how much our SCCRC are prepared to cover up Cases.
See Statements of Taylor QC (Who also represented Lockerbie Bomber Megrahi) in which he tries to deny ever knowing about a witness on the list of witnesses. What a joke? He claims he did not know of the lawyer Shaws evidence despite his Own ID Parade report being available and him being Cited as defence witness. (See them all below on link)
See also Solicitor Keegans Statements in which he tries to claim SCCRC are Liars and wrote their own interpretation of what he was trying to say.
Its Amazing how their statements change when they are caught out eh???
