RED TOP REVIEWMadonna's marriage 'definitely' overLunchbyte regulars could be forgiven for a sense
of deja vu. The Daily Mirror is back on the subject of Madge's marriage, claiming a world exclusive with the news that it's definitely, completely and utterly over with Guy Ritchie after the couple drifted apart. The paper claims Ritchie has reluctantly agreed to Madonna's request for a divorce, but friends say he is still clinging to the hope of rescuing their relationship. One friend is quoted as saying: "Madonna told Guy: 'I'm sorry, I want a divorce.' He agreed. It was quite painless but obviously very sad." The paper details the couple's assets and earning power, suggesting Ritchie is a relative underachiever with income of £20m. Madge, on the other hand, still has earning power of £250m

Yesterday the nation was treated to some fairly eye-popping images of the couple cavorting on a sun lounger. Today the Daily Record is among several papers with pictures of the soccer star cooling off. "You're a diver, Ronaldo" says the headline above freeze-frame images of the star leaping off a yacht. The Sun offers some not very flattering marks out of 10. The Mirror, rather ungallantly, shows a close-up of Gallardo rescuing her bikini bottoms after trying to get back on the boat.
Stars, stripes and SmeatoAnd in case you were wondering what Smeato's been up to in the past 24 hours, take a look at the Sun. As you probably know already, the nation's leading tackler of terrorists has gone to the United States (the world's leading nation in terrorist-tackling) to make his fortune. Today's Sun has a picture of Smeato holding up the stars and stripes and telling of his "shock" at being invited to appear on one of the biggest chat shows in the US. The former baggage handler will appear on Good Morning America this Monday, the first anniversary of the Glasgow Airport attack. The Sun columnist wants to launch a career as a corporate speaker in the States. "It's mental going on such a big show – I can't believe they asked me," he tells the paper.

The sharp surge followed comments by Opec president Chakib Khelil yesterday that prices could go as high as $170 a barrel within the next few months. The rise was also blamed on investors who are concerned over the dollar's continued devaluation, rushing to sink their money into oil.
The value of the dollar closed at 1.9875 against the pound yesterday after a series of falls against other major currencies.
"The dollar movements caused the surge in oil pricing and the bullish trend remains intact," said Victor Shum, an energy analyst with Purvin & Gertz in Singapore. "The oil market is subject to further spikes in the coming weeks."

FASHIONBy Kayt Turner
Rihanna, Trinny Woodall, Joely Richardson
Soft, strong and very longLook at Rihanna. She's the Fairy Princess of Andrexia. Try not to get caught in the rain, love.
What net to wearContinuing with the homemade theme, Trinny Woodall seems to have just grabbed a pair of nicotine-stained nets to wear as a frock. But I think she's managed to deflect attention away from that with her shoe-box shoes.
Joely has the edgeAnd then there's Joely Richardson. After her stellar performance at the Edinburgh premiere of The Edge Of Love, she's not showing any signs of letting up. Bring on the young things! Let them try to compete with this! The fools.
SPORTBy Iain MorrisonWimbledon doubles standardsToday's Wimbledon sees two interesting doubles specialists play. Cara Black is on court two and her compatriot Kevin Ullyett appears on court three. Both players hail from Zimbabwe, whose cricket team has just been banned from touring England. Is this a case of double standards or are they representing themselves rather than their poor, blighted country in what is an individual sport?
Black and her American partner Liezel Huber are ranked number one seeds in the women's doubles. Ullyett and the veteran Swede Jonas Bkorkman are the number eight seeds in the men's competition. You have to wish them both well, given the mounting problems at home.

This is a blog account of when he tried to download some of his own company's software onto his own Windows machine. Now he knows what we suffer.
