And it goes without saying that under this new" Fundamentalism" in which we find ourselves, any "heretic" who dares speak out against the "Dogma" is persecuted and osteracised in a manner the Inquistion would be proud of. Our public services are filled with useful idiots who will progress this fanaticism without thought in order to progress their careers. It is no co incidence that many of those who devised and administered the Nazi death camps were ordinary "respectable " civil servant pen pushers who wouldn't have said boo to a ghost in their mundane suburban lives.
Nothing changes and we never learn.

The UK is Broke.
The UK's total external debt is over 10 Trillion USD. This makes the UK the second most indebted country on the planet. It is slightly behind the US which has 13 Trillion USD in debt.
Even more worrying is the fact that Debt to GDP stands at 490% while the US is at a more manageable 99%.
That means that the UK is one of the worst positioned to manage this crisis. You may see the UK going to the IMF to have its debt rescheduled in the near future.
