Muslims around the world have been observing a four week period of fasting during Ramadan and will soon celebrate the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, the ‘festival of breaking the fast’.
In 2024 Eid is expected to fall on Wednesday, April 10 and if you would like to share your best wishes with Muslims during the holiday you can always wish them a happy Eid in English.
But if you would prefer something more authentic, here are seven Arabic greetings you can use to wish someone a “happy Eid”, including “Ramadan Mubarak” and “Ramadan Kareem”.
1. Eid Mubarak

2. Eid Saeed

3. Ramadan Kareem

4. Ramadan Mubarak
