Rugby: PL pile pressure on Livingston
PL eventually came out 31-18 winners, picking up a bonus point in the process, to reach 62 points and keep the pressure up on the top side.
Livingston should still go on and clinch the title as they have four matches left as opposed to PL’s two, but it will be an exciting few weeks.

Hide AdAt the Pennypit, both PL and Dunbar emerged from the sole East One match at the weekend with credit, playing good rugby in tough conditions. As well as MacIntosh, Paul Voy, Munro Third and Bruce Stoddart ran in tries for the home side, while Graeme Patterson kicked three conversions.
RHC Cougars and Livingston were left disappointed on Saturday when the bad weather saw the RBS Edinburgh Regional Shield final at Barnton postponed as kick-off approached.
Although not confirmed as yet, the final looks set to be replayed this coming weekend, taking precedence over league matches as the national Shield semis are due to be the following week.
At the top of RBS East Three, Inverleith and Leith are still battling out for the title after wins. Inverleith got the better of Moray House 29-6 while Leith saw off Queensferry 24-12.
In that match Leith’s tries came from a hat-trick by Chris Johnston and one from Matt McIlwaine while Doug Watters weighed in with two conversions.
