Golf: Torrance to be honoured in Glasgow
The 58-year-old will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2012 Annodata Scottish Golf Awards in Glasgow next month, a year after Paul Lawrie and Colin Montgomerie received the same accolade. “I am privileged to be receiving this award and thoroughly looking forward to the evening,” said Torrance, who is set to be joined at the event by members of his family, including father and lifelong coach, Bob.
“I have enjoyed a wonderful career and I would like to think I am not finished yet. I have many great memories and I look forward to sharing them with Scotland’s golf fans on the night. This will be another memorable occasion for me.”
