Transfer news and speculation has understandably taken a back seat in recent weeks due to the coronavirus outbreak and uncertainty over when football will return. Yet, Scotland being Scotland, has seen the country’s game hit the headlines with some unusual behaviour.
The SPFL’s resolution to terminate the leagues below the Ladbrokes Premiership has stirred up a huge amount of controversy following the vote on Friday. What followed were accusations of corruption, incompetence, claim and counter-claim. It was an entertaining mess. As of yet, there is no idea how this will progress.

1. Rangers refuse to hand over evidence
Rangers are refusing to hand over evidence outlining the SPFL’s incompetence regarding their resolution until an independent investigation into the vote is opened. 2. SPFL hit back at Rangers
The SPFL released a statement of their own expressing their concern that Rangers have made “a number of very serious allegations against the SPFL, its corporate governance, its culture, its office-bearers and its business operations”. 3. Gardiner reveals Dundee vote

4. Dundee want league reconstruction proposal
Dundee could be at the forefront of league reconstruction. The club are being given time to consider their position as they’re the only ones not to have voted in the SPFL’s resolution.
