Liverpool send message to Steven Gerrard and Rangers after Scottish title win
Gerrard spent most of his playing career at Anfield, making more than 500 appearances for the Merseyside club over 17 years and captaining them to Champions League glory in Istanbul in 2005.
He also lifted the UEFA Cup with Liverpool in 2001, and won two FA Cups and three League Cups on the domestic front.
