Is Celtic an option as Steven Gerrard considers next move?
LIVERPOOL
Manager Jurgen Klopp has already said Gerrard is “always welcome” back at the club but any return would be in an off-field role. Gerrard is taking his coaching badges and may see his former club as the ideal place to start a new chapter.
CELTIC
Speculation has already linked Gerrard with a reunion with former boss Brendan Rodgers, a man whom the midfielder once said he wished had managed him earlier in his career. Their last season at Liverpool together was not the happiest for the player as he was left out of some major games but he could be tempted by one last swansong and extend his playing days in Scotland.

TELEVISION
He has already cut his teeth in punditry with BT Sport, making a number of transatlantic flights to be involved with their Champions League coverage. It would be the most comfortable of all the options but it has never been Gerrard’s style to take the easy route.
