Stack: Dons game was a building block for Hibs
The goal-less encounter with the Dons ended a run of three successive defeats for Colin Calderwood’s side but still left them propping up the rest of the league.
But while delighted to have kept a clean sheet, the Easter Road goalkeeper insisted that while it was far from a classic performance from Hibs, there were encouraging signs.

In the two weeks after the Hearts game we put things in place to improve. In meetings everyone had the chance to say where we can progress and improve. That’s been good.”
And while admitting three straight defeats would have an impact in any sport, Stack insisted heads had remained up at Easter Road. He told Hibs TV: “Team spirit has been good in and around the place despite results not going our way.
“I was pleased to get the clean sheet against Aberdeen. There were certainly positives we can take from the game, there’s something to build on.”
Meanwhile, Motherwell and Hibs have agreed to slash ticket prices for next week’s Scottish Communities League Cup clash at Fir Park.
Admission to the Lanarkshire ground usually costs up to £25 for an adult but entry to Tuesday night’s third-round tie has been cut to £15, while prices for concessions and juveniles will also fall to £10 and £5 respectively.
