Celtic to face Inter Milan in pre-season friendly
The Celtic Park friendly will see the SPL champions play the club they famously beat in the 1967 European Cup final, becoming the first British side to lift the trophy in the process.
Members from the triumphant team, dubbed the ‘Lisbon Lions’, will be in attendance and current Celtic boss Neil Lennon hailed the arrangement as ‘magnificent’ for the club.

“The match will be a magnificent event where we welcome some top players to Glasgow and, of course, honour those who have played such an important role in Celtic’s past.
“It is magnificent that Celtic is able to bring such a big name to Scottish football and I am sure this will be an occasion which our supporters, across many generations, will wish to experience.”
