John Kennedy proud after Celtic U-20 win
The 3-1 victory sealed a fourth successive domestic clean sweep for Celtic, who have also impressed on the continental stage as part of the NextGen Series, a youth invitational version of the Champions League, this term.
Kennedy believes eye-catching performances from the likes of Paul George, Callum McGregor and Bahrudin Atajic will have made an impact on the near-3,000 crowd at the national stadium, which included chief executive Peter Lawell.

Hide AdHe said: “Dunfermline gave us a really tough game, but I thought the quality and brilliance of some of our individuals started to unlock them and we scored some good goals.
“For the four years in a row, to win the league and cup, is terrific for our academy and everyone involved. We are delighted and it is a credit to the work we do here.
“We are developing players and a winning mentality here, and I am sure a few of the boys have impressed. ”
Dunfermline under-20s manager John Potter insisted his embattled side did themselves proud. The Pars kids have not been immune to the unpaid wages and brutal cost-cutting at administration-hit Dunfermline, with many of them thrusted into top team action ahead of schedule.
Potter said: “I couldn’t be more proud of the boys, they have been working so hard in the past five or six weeks and that takes its toll. They have been fantastic all season.”
