Soppy’s current side are keen to hold on to the player with the view of moving him into the first-team next season.
The 18-year-old, who has been a regular for the French youth sides, is contracted until 2021.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Elyounoussi has all but ruled out a return to Celtic once his loan from Southampton expires.
Signed by the Premier League side for £16million, he has been at Parkhead since the summer and impressed with seven goals in 20 appearances. Af oot injury had kept him out for a chunk of the campaign.
He said: "I still have three years left of the contract with Southampton. I want to show a better side of myself than what I have done. I hope I can go back and fight for a place next season.
"But at the same time, I really want to finish the season at Celtic and win the league."
