Benin take tough stance on failure

While only George Burley and his coaching staff paid a price for the Scotland team's failed tilt at World Cup qualification, Benin's FA have gone a step further and sacked the entire team
following their failure at the recently-concluded African Nations Cup.

Hide AdAll 23 players and the five-member coaching panel led by Frenchman Michel Dussuyer have been handed their jotters.
"The decision took into account the indiscipline, lack of patriotism and lack of team results," said a statement.
