Cricket: Morton CC in final of Small Clubs Cup
The East Division Four outfit will be hoping to draw on form that has seen them gain promotions in each of the past two seasons with a squad that includes players from Scotland, England, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Pakistan, Canada and even a female Swedish archaeologist currently working in the Capital.
More recently Morton overcame Woodcutters when batsman Veera Naga smashed seven sixes, Tranent and Motherwell, all away, to clinch their place in the final and add lustre to a season that begin with a tour of Majorca.
