Nelson Mandela ‘responding to treatment’ says Zuma
SOUTH African president Jacob Zuma has said that Nelson Mandela is responding better to his treatment.
Mandela, who is being treated for a recurring lung infection, has spent his fifth day in Pretoriahospital after being admitted on Saturday.
Mr Zuma has said that he is happy with Mr Mandela’s progress, after what he described as ‘a difficult few days.’

Hide AdIt is the fourth time that Mr Mandela has been in hospital since December.
Over the weekend, South Africans were united in prayer for the former president, who was reported to be in a ‘serious condition’.
