suspected American drones have fired several missiles into three militant hideouts near
Pakistan’s Afghan border, killing at least nine fighters, according to Pakistani intelligence officials.
Three officials said yesterday’s strikes targeted Pakistani Taleban hideouts in the South Waziristan tribal region.
They said two important commanders of the Pakistani Taleban may be among those killed.
