The Met Office advised that hill snow in the areas may lead to some travel disruption, with the most prolonged hill snow coming north of the Central Belt in Scotland.
Those living in the areas can expect some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
There are no weather warnings in place for the remainder of the week.
