Reports had suggested Strathclyde Police would not deploy its officers to games until an outstanding bill had been settled, but Duff and Phelps stressed there was no immediate risk to the fixture list.

Agreements have been reached regarding policing games at Ibrox and payment arrangements have been put in place.”

In a statement, it said that while it is working on a “match-by-match basis”, police enjoyed an “excellent relationship” with administrators, and “currently do not foresee any problems policing future matches at Ibrox”.
