Publishers lavish praise
Mainstream, based in Albany Street in the New Town, has been running for 35 years and will shut its office in December, with the loss of ten jobs.
Amongst its writers are Hugh McIlvanney, Martha Long, Donald McRae, Philip Carlo and Carol Ann Lee.
Its last book will be published in March next year.

It’s been our privilege to have worked with so many interesting people and talented authors and to have been surrounded by such highly professional staff.”
