Lethal Aintree
In 2012, Aintree was the most lethal of all of Britain’s racecourses, claiming the lives of six horses in just eight days of racing.
And what about the future of the horses that didn’t die on the course? Perhaps they’ll end up in burgers, since one of the slaughtermen caught up in the horsemeat scandal is contracted to remove horses from Aintree.
