Labour reforms
As a lifelong Labour voter, I am concerned by the state of the party, both in Westminster and in Holyrood.
I have great respect for Johann Lamont but change in Scotland is due, so I was disappointed to read that Jim Murphy, who was a strong and credible Better Together spokesman during the referendum, has ruled out a leadership bid (your report, 20 October).
Is it possible it’s not the Scottish arm of the party he has his eye on?
