Cycle of terror
Why do cyclists insist on being antisocial and dangerous? Last weekend I was driving through Aberlady when around a dozen male idiots on bikes shot out of a side street, one after another, into my path, without looking to see if the road was clear. Had I not braked suddenly, at least one of them would have found himself spread across the outside wall of the Indian restaurant.
And am I alone in wondering why cyclists wear helmets to hurtle along pavements? Is it to protect them in the event of a collision with a pram or wheelchair? I really would like to know.
