'Not enough' hybrid cars in SNP's fleet
Following a parliamentary question by Lib Dem transport spokeswoman Alison McInnes MSP, finance secretary John Swinney said that 38 diesel vehicles had been bought in the last two years, compared to just three environmentally friendly models.
However, the government does own 24 hybrid cars in total, compared to just two which run solely on unleaded fuel.

Hide AdMrs McInnes said: "The ongoing replacement of the government car fleet should be an opportunity for the SNP – by opting for hybrid cars they could be setting an example for the rest of the country."
